Black and White Ball of Northern Nevada Fundraiser Set
The preeminent fundraiser for HIV and AIDS services in Northern Nevada has set Saturday October 13, 2012 for the Black and White Ball.
Lacy J Dalton is the headline entertainer for this year’s event being held at the Silver Legacy Grand Exposition Hall, and local band Escalade brings the smooth sounds Motown. The silent auction is anticipated months in advance due to the unique items offered by local businesses that support the event.
All funds raised by the Black and White Ball stay in the Northern Nevada Region and support organizations such as ACCEPT and Northern Nevada HOPES, which offer social services for patients and families of patients with HIV/AIDS.
Tickets can be purchased now on line at: http://www.blackandwhiteballnv.org
Started nearly a decade ago the Black and White Ball offers Hollywood caliber entertainment with a silent auction people clamor over. All proceeds go to funding local support groups for patients and family of those infected with HIV and prevention programs. Many years ago HIV was thought to be a gay disease. Currently the fastest growing segment of the population contracting HIV is women. Through programs supported by the Black and White Ball helping families stay healthy, it is now common to see babies born to infected parents delivered without HIV. Programs for free non-invasive testing for the entire community are also supported.
Corporations are invited to participate on many different sponsorship levels.
